Oberon Campdraft

Plan Your Trip

Oberon, on the western slopes of the Blue Mountains, is one of the first genuine rural communities west of Sydney and is an easy 2.5-hour drive from both Sydney and Canberra.

Oberon Campdraft

Our festival weekend coincides with the annual Oberon Campdraft event, held at the Showground, where horse riders compete in campdrafting, a sport involving selecting and maneuvering a steer within a designated area. We highly recommend you plan a 15 minute walk from the Malachi to the Showground to experience a genuine aspect of life in a rural town!

Mayfield Garden

Our Saturday morning concert is being held in the beautiful chapel in Mayfield Garden, and the concert ticket includes entry to the gardens.  We highly recommend you take advantage of this offer and make time to look around the magnificent gardens after the concert.

Here are a few of our picks for what else to do in and around Oberon and its charming surrounding villages.
