Back by popular demand after her hugely popular appearance at the 2024 Oberon Festival, mezzo-soprano Ashlyn Tymms returns to the Festival stage. Ashlyn has established herself as one of Australia’s most exciting young artists, after taking home the top prize at the 2025 Australian Opera Awards. A Principal Artist with Opera Australia, she brings a powerful and captivating presence to this program of music for mezzo-soprano, piano and strings.
Ashlyn is joined by Ying Ho (piano), Dimity Hall (violin), James Wannan (viola) and Julian Smiles (cello) for an afternoon of beautiful music and exceptional chamber music-making.
