The 2025 Oberon Chamber Music Festival closes with a luminous all-French program celebrating colour, texture, and elegance. Featuring flautist Joshua Batty, harpist Louisic Dulbecco, string players Emma Jardine, Brigid Coleridge, Tobias Breider, and Rachel Siu, and clarinettist Peter Jenkin, this program offers a kaleidoscope of French masterworks.
From the mythic drama of Jolivet’s Chant de Linos to the sensual beauty of Debussy’s Danses sacrée et profane and Sonata for Flute, Viola and Harp, the concert also includes Ravel’s ravishing Introduction and Allegro and the virtuosic Borne Carmen Fantasy for flute and strings, based on Bizet's famous opera. A radiant finale to a weekend of unforgettable music.
