D'Amore by Candlelight

Slow down and settle in for an intimate evening of chamber music by candlelight at the beautiful St Barnabas’ church. This special late-night concert explores the warm, distinctive sound of the rarely heard viola d’amore, alongside music for cello and violin.
Festival artists James Wannan (viola d'amore), Julian Smiles (cello), Dimity Hall (violin) and Emma Jardine (violin) come together for a program of solos and duos: beautiful, intimate music to listen to up close, in the gentle glow of candlelight.
A relaxed and atmospheric way to round off your Festival Saturday.
Due to limited seating in the church, this event is currently now only available as past of the Festival Pass. Closer to the festival, more single tickets may be released.
